Occupational therapist jobs at DCHS

Occupational therapists help adults and children of all ages to overcome physical and mental problems that are the result of disability, injury or illness. Occupational therapists work to enable people with disabilities to lead full, satisfying and independent lives. They observe patients doing tasks, ask them questions, and review their medical history, evaluate a patient's condition and needs then develop a treatment plan for patients, laying out the types of activities and specific goals to be accomplished.

We employ occupational therapists to provide support to patients in the community across the whole of Derbyshire. Services are provided in the home, in community settings, and in our community hospitals and health centres.
