Derbyshire Carers Association - Year 5 report

Derbyshire Carers Association support Carers who look after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental ill health or an addiction. The care they provide is unpaid.

In 2017 Derbyshire County Council commissioned DCA to deliver the Carers Assessment and Support Service to Carers and families residing throughout Derbyshire. There are 36 members of the team in a variety of roles including Carers Support, Peer Support and Volunteering.

In this report we celebrate the success and achievements during the fifth year of the service.
