The East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN) has launched its annual public involvement fund, offering 15 awards of £2,000 to successful organisations and groups in the region.
This funding is aimed at health, social care, charities and voluntary organisations and groups. EMAHSN welcomes applications that encourage public involvement in health and care research, innovation, transformation, and improvement - particularly those that demonstrate the involvement of seldom heard and underserved communities.
Applications for the awards will be considered by a panel including representatives from the East Midlands Patient Public Involvement Senate, an independent group with varied health and service user experience. The Senate supports health and social care organisations to embed public involvement across the region.
Applications to the scheme are now open. The deadline for applications is midnight Thursday 30 June 2022. If groups would like support with their application or further information, they can email shahnaz.aziz@nottingham.ac.uk
