What is the Prince’s Trust?
The Prince’s Trust is an action-orientated charity, supporting young people between the ages of 11-30, particularly those who have been marginalised or are disengaged, to get into employment, education or training, and helping to build both confidence and skills.
One of the programmes the Prince’s Trust offers is a placement with partnership employers within Health and Social Care. This is designed to help develop practical skills and knowledge to secure a job. We have supported two previous programmes which have resulted in changing lives and giving employment.
For managers and teams
Is your team or department amazing? Do you think you could give someone a great insight into what it’s like to work for the NHS? Can you support someone on a four week placement?
If you are able to offer a placement to a Prince’s Trust person in either June and or October, please contact dchst.apprenticeships@nhs.net with the subject as ‘Prince’s Trust’.
For all
Do you know anyone who is aged 18-30, not in education, training or employment? DCHS is offering a variety of roles on a week week placement with the aim to give some insight and work experience. Various locations are available.
Taster Day for applicants
